Hi! I’m Abby

It’s Nice to Meet You.

As a Vermonter born and raised, I deeply appreciate community connection, honest conversations, the transition of seasonal change, and hard work in everything I do.

As a first-generation student, I’ve forged my path through dedication, creative problem-solving, and strong task management skills.

With six years of formal design education, beginning at a technical school and continuing through my bachelor’s degree program in Graphic Design and Media Arts at SNHU, I’ve built a solid foundation in creativity and craft.

Alongside two years of experience in hospitality, I have a keen understanding of service, collaboration, and adaptability, all of which shape my approach as a designer. I’m passionate about creating meaningful work that reflects genuine connection and thoughtful solutions.

My Background

  • As a social media content and graphic design associate with Lark, I worked as a hybrid and on-demand creative. I creatively and strategically created visual content and managed social media platforms for multiple Lark Hotels. I used graphic design tools (Canva & Adobe Creative Suite) to create designs that resonate with target audiences while meeting brand standards. This position also provided me with the opportunity to collaborate with marketing and management team members to ensure cohesive visual content for social media, print, events, and promotions.

  • As a Graphic Design and Media Arts undergraduate at SNHU, I have developed a strong foundation in design and strategic communication. My education has prepared me to create impactful visual solutions across print and digital media.

Through hands-on coursework and real-world projects, I have learned to design with purpose, creating visually compelling deliverables that are aligned with user needs and support brand goals. My work includes multi-page layouts, packaging, visual identity systems, and infographics, all demonstrating a thoughtful balance of creativity, technical skill, and design thinking.

I have also gained experience collaborating in team environments, incorporating feedback, managing project timelines, and preparing files for professional production and digital publishing. These skills reflect industry standards and support my readiness for a professional design role.

  • As a student in the Digital Arts program at Stafford Technical Center, I gained hands-on experience in graphic design, digital photography, animation, web design, and illustration. I worked on both print and digital projects, building technical skills while learning to manage multiple deadlines and incorporate feedback.

The program emphasized creative problem-solving, collaboration, and professional workflows, giving me a strong foundation in visual communication and preparing me for my continued studies in graphic design.
