Bluebird Hotels is a modern hotel brand with a “come as you are” motto. The brand’s positioning is based on the traditional road trip, enjoying the great outdoors, and providing a “basecamp” for travelers.
Cady Hill Lodge needed three menus to reflect their brand identity and communicate clearly to their target audience about available food options throughout the day.

Cady Hill uses retro-inspired property features for signage and furniture. To maintain consistency with these themes, the menu design was inspired by retro menu styles, incorporates a modern column structure, and emphasizes approachability.

The menu design development centered on maintaining visual consistency with Cady Hill’s retro-inspired aesthetic while ensuring clarity and usability. To meet these needs, I used a modular grid system to guide the layout structure, allowing flexibility across menu variations and supporting a balanced visual rhythm. To enhance legibility, I refined typography and spacing, while the rounded shapes and subtle contrasts reinforce the approachable tone established in the brand’s visual identity.
